These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of whichphone ("the Service"), operated at whichphone.xyz. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Description of Service

whichphone is a web-based Gmail organizer that helps you identify and clean emails in categories such as spam, social notifications, and newsletters, and unsubscribe from subscription senders when you choose to. The Service connects to your Gmail account via Google OAuth and performs actions only at your explicit request.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old and have a valid Google account with Gmail access to use the Service. By using whichphone, you represent that you meet these requirements.

Google Services & Gmail Access

If you choose to connect your Gmail account, the Service uses Google Sign-In and requests the minimum necessary scope: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.modify

This scope is used exclusively for the following user-initiated email cleaning features:

• Move emails you select to the Trash folder — one by one or in batches of up to 100 — from folders such as Spam, Promotions / newsletters, Social, Updates, and similar categories.
• Detect subscription senders (for example newsletters and social media mail like Facebook, Instagram, etc.) and help you unsubscribe from them — one by one or in batches of up to 100 — when you choose to do so.

Important limitations:

• These are the only Gmail actions the Service performs. It does not send emails, read your full inbox for other purposes, or reorganize mail beyond moving selected messages to Trash or unsubscribing when you ask.
• The Service never performs any action automatically.
• All deletions (move to Trash) and unsubscribes require your explicit confirmation.
• We do not store your emails, email content, or attachments on our servers.
• We only access the minimum metadata and information necessary to provide these cleaning and unsubscribe features.
• We do not use your Gmail data for advertising, profiling, training AI models, or any purpose other than the features explicitly requested by you.

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You can revoke our access to your Gmail account at any time from your Google Account Permissions.

User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Review emails and senders before deleting or unsubscribing, as these actions cannot be undone through whichphone
• Use the Service only for managing your own Gmail account
• Not attempt to access, interfere with, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure

Email Deletion & Unsubscribes

When you confirm a clean or unsubscribe action, whichphone moves matching emails to Trash or initiates an unsubscribe on your behalf. Moving messages to Trash is irreversible through whichphone; Gmail's own Trash and recovery features may still apply. We are not responsible for emails deleted or unsubscribes made at your request.

No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that all unwanted emails will be identified.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, whichphone and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or emails, arising from your use of the Service.

Intellectual Property

The whichphone name, logo, and website design are our property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without prior written consent.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by signing out or revoking Google access. We reserve the right to suspend or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
